Tiffany Tran was born and raised in East Side San Jose, and lived there for 24 years. Even though she lived in San Jose her entire life, she acquired more exposure to the city and people from different walks of life since attending college. Upon attending Mission College then transferring to San Jose State University, she graduated with a Bachelor's in Psychology and gained most of her work experience in mental health services. As an aspiring social worker, she hopes to utilize her profession as one way to liberate and uplift the well-being of various marginalized and minoritized populations, including generations of Vietnamese, Vietnamese Americans, and Vietnamese diaspora. She hopes to give back to the Vietnamese community that raised and shaped her. Ultimately, she hopes to make her family and ancestors proud, and to positively shape future Vietnamese generations with her contributions.

She discusses her life in San Jose, her relationship with her family and her community, and her Vietnamese American Identity.
