Oral History Of Alyssa Tran

 

Alyssa Tran was born in 2001 to two Vietnamese American refugees. She was born in San Jose, CA and has lived in San Jose for entirety of her life. She was educated in San Jose and went to De Anza Community College and San Francisco State University for her college experience. She currently works at the International Children Assistance Network as their Marketing and Development Coordinator.

She discusses her life in San Jose, her relationship with her family and her community, and her Vietnamese American Identity. She shares her thoughts about what it means to be Vietnamese American in a community that has a predominent Vietnamse American population.
