Oral History Of Anh Thy Tran
Anh Thy Tran was born and raised in San Jose, California. She is the daughter of two Vietnamese refugees who moved all over the place before settling in San Jose. She recently graduated from San Jose State University and will be continuing to pursue an education and career to assist in the Vietnamese American community.
She discusses her life in San Jose, her relationship with her family and her community, and her Vietnamese American Identity. She shares her thoughts about what it means to be Vietnamese American in a community that is predominently Vietnamese American. She talks about her identity, community, the Vietnamese language, and cultural conflicts.
